Sonipat - The Sports University of Haryana, Rai, Sonipat has issued an advertisement for recruiting to several visiting and contractual position to strengthen in academic and sports training ecosystem. The notification outlines post-wise eligibility criteria, number of vacancies, remuneration and detailed terms and conditions for engagement.
Under Section ‘A’ (Contractual Posts), the university has invited applications for posts such as Senior Consultant (Sports) and Junior Consultant-I. The Senior Consultant (Sports) post carries a consolidated remuneration of ₹90,000 per month, while the Junior Consultant-I post offers ₹50,000 per month. Eligibility includes qualifications such as Ph.D. in Physical Education/Sports Sciences or relevant postgraduate degrees, along with substantial professional experience in sports administration, coaching, or academic roles.
Under Section ‘B’ (Visiting Posts), vacancies have been announced for Visiting Coaches in disciplines including Boxing, Cricket, Kabaddi, Swimming, and Wrestling, each with one post. Additionally, Visiting Junior Coach positions are available across a wide range of sports such as Athletics, Boxing, Cricket, Fencing, Handball, Judo, Lawn Tennis, Netball, Shooting, Strength & Conditioning, Taekwondo, Volleyball, Wrestling, and Yoga. The remuneration for Visiting Coaches is ₹2,000 per day (maximum ceiling ₹50,000), while Visiting Junior Coaches will receive ₹1,500 per day (maximum ceiling ₹40,000).
The university has also invited aapplications for the post of Visiting Junior Consultant (Physiotherapist) with one male and one female position available. The post require a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and relavant professional experience with a remuneration of ₹1,500 per day, subject to a monthly calling of ₹40,000.
As per the notification, the last date for submission of applications is February 13, 2026 upto 5:00 PM. Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format along with self-attested copies of educational and experience certificate. The engagements will be purely contractual for eleven months or until regular appointments are made.
