New Delhi :  - The Ministry of Education, Government of India has released an official notice inviting applications from eligible Indian students for the Government of Brunie Darussalam Scholarship for foreign students for the 2026-27 academic session. The details of the scholarship have also been shared to on the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia to help the students access the information easily. 

According to the official notification, the scholarship is being offered for Diploma, Undergraduate and Post Graduate Masters's programmes at selected higher education institutions in Brunie Darussalam. The participation institutions include Universiti Brunie Darussalam, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali, Universiti Technologi Brunie , Kolej University Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan and Politeknik Brunie. 

Eligible apllicants are required to submit their applications online through the official webiste of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Brunie Darussalam.  Complete details related to the Eligibility Conditions, Scholarship coverage and the Application Process are available on the official portal for reference. 

The deadline for submitting the application is February 15, 2026, upto 23:59 hours (Brunie Time). The Ministry of Education has clarified that it is only sharing the information for students and will not be involved in the selection process. The final selection of candidate will be conducted entirely by the Government of Brunie Darussalam.
