New Delhi. : A successful Annual Conference of Forum of Public Schools(FPS) was  held at India International Centre, New Delhi where   Hardeep Singh Puri,   Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas; and Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, was the Chief guest and also inaugurated the conference. In his inaugural address he spoke about the vision of New India and briefed the upcoming/in-progress projects of the government of India to strengthen our country. He congratulated FPS and the officials for organizing the meaningful conference.

The keynote speaker of the event was Professor Saroj Sharma, Chairperson of National Institute of Open Schooling(NIOS). In her keynote she elaborated in length about rich culture and heritage of India. She also emphasized the fire need to promote Hindi and other regional languages in our country. Prof Saroj Sharma released the e-newsletter of FPS.

Chairperson of FPS, Anupma Bhardwaj delivered the welcome speech  while the Secretary of NPS, Archana Narain presented the Annual Report. Miss Pallavi Sharma introduced the Chief guest of the conference and Miss Anita Sharma stated the profile of the Keynote speaker. Patron, S L Jain, presented the vote of thanks to the Chief Guest Shri Hardeep Singh Puri for his presence and his words of wisdom while Patron, Madhulika Sen, extended her vote of thanks to Prof Saroj Sharma for her inspiring and educational speech.

During Session 2 of the Annual Conference of Forum of Public Schools, Former DGP Of Meghalaya, Mr. S K jain, IPS; spoke about the effective need of Value Education in our country. In this session, two energetic young girls stole the show with their captivating and inspiring speeches. Squadron leader Miss Toolika Rani addressed a diverse area of sports and  Iti Tyagi focused on art integration and creativity. The two of them shared inspiring life experiences of themselves which motivated the audience.  Swarnima Luthra moderated the session and Colonel Prem Prakash summarized the session.

During the post-lunch session, Dr. Sangeeta Parijaat , Director of Inlead focused on 'AatmaNirbhar Bharat' (Self-reliant India). In her inspiring presentation , she explained various aspects of ‘AatmaNirbharta’(Self-reliance) and connected them with real life situations. Miss Rashmi Malik chaired the session  and Ms Anupama Chopra summarized it .In concluding session , the energetic team of Asmita theatre group (Director, Shri Arvind Gaur)  presented a nukkadnatak(a form of street play) titled 'Mausam'.

In the end  Rohit Bajaj ,Vice President of FPS ,proposed the vote of thanks and extended gratitude to all the guests, speakers, sponsors, and participants. The AnnualConference was attended by a large mass of Principals, Managers, teachers, and educators .
