On February 13, 2026, Aligarh saw movement as its Training & Placement Office (General) along with Training & Placement Office (ZHCET) at Aligarh Muslim University received news from Engineers India Limited - an arm of the Indian government - about hiring young graduates set to finish their courses by 2026.
Following the formal announcement, EIL now accepts submissions for various engineering and management roles. Positions range from junior trainee to senior specialist.
Applicants aiming for Engineer roles need to possess an M.E., M.Tech., or M.Sc. (Engineering) - specifically focusing on areas like Earthquake Engineering, Structural Dynamics, Advanced Structural Analysis & Design, Wind Engineering, Finite ElementMethods, or Structural Engineering - with research tied to offshore or marine structures. Their academic work should connect to real-world marine systems. Graduation year matters too; those completing their studies in 2026 meet the criteria. Nobody from earlier cohorts qualifies here.
To apply for a Management Trainee position, applicants need a B.E./B.Tech., B.Arch., or B.Sc. Engineering degree - especially in areas like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical, Computer Science/IT, Electronics & Telecommunication, and connected fields. The year of completion matters too; those finishing in 2026 are eligible.
If selected, you could work from EIL’s main office in Delhi or Gurugram. Sometimes that means being at branch or regional locations. Other times it involves inspection units or even project sites across India or overseas.
