New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2027. Through this notification, the NTA has released the admission notification for Class 6 and Class 9 for the session 2027-28 in the Sainik Schools and New Sainik Schools across India. According to the public notice dated 03.11.2026, the online application process started on the same day. Interested candidates can apply online at the AISSEE portal from 3^rd November to 12^th December 2026.

However, NTA has relaxed the last date for submission of online application form and payment of application fee and made provision for a separate ‘Late Application Window’ to submit online application for AISSEE 2027. This is to inform the candidates and their parents that online test for AISSEE-2027 is tentatively being scheduled for 31st January 2027. They are also advised to see the conditions of eligibility and other pertinent information available in the Information Bulletin prior to applying for the examination.

AISSEE 2027 Notification: Details

The Sainik Schools Society (SSS) has handed over the responsibility of conducting AISSEE 2027 to the National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct Class 6 and Class 9 entrance examinations for admission to various Sainik Schools and New Sainik Schools for the academic year 2027-28.

AISSEE 2027 Application Dates: Check the Complete Schedule

As notified by the NTA, there will be a different deadline for submission of application, payment of fee and correction of details in the application form. Candidates must take notice of the closing time as both the deadlines are the same (i.e. 11:50 PM).

Late submission of application will attract a fee of ₹500. Candidates must complete the application in the regular time window and avoid relying on the extended time window.

How to Apply Online for AISSEE 2027?

Candidates can complete their applications on the NTA AISSEE portal. The application and fee payment processes are online. Steps to Fill the Application Form:

Candidates must satisfy themselves about their eligibility for admission to the class for which they are applying. Parents are also suggested to view the participating Sainik schools and new Sainik schools with their tentative seat intake, seat reservation details. NTA has not communicated the result date in the public notice dated 03 November, 2022.
