Rishikesh: The AIIMS Rishikesh has released a notification inviting applications for contractual positions under an extramural research project focused on community health.
The recruitment is being conducted for a project titled “Community Holistic Health & Wellness Program through community volunteers (Wellness Mitra) for NCD Risk Reduction in Rural Population, Uttarakhand.”
The institute is hiring for two positions: Project Manager/Research Associate (01 post) and Field Investigator/Research Assistant (02 posts).
Candidates applying for the Project Manager role must have a graduate degree in health sciences (e.g., Nursing, AYUSH, MBBS) with relevant research experience, while Field Investigator applicants should have a graduate degree in life sciences or public health disciplines.
The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹25,000 for Project Manager/Research Associate and ₹15,000 for Field Investigator posts.
The age limit is 35 years, and the positions are purely contractual for six months, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
The walk-in interview is scheduled for April 7, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Department of Community & Family Medicine, AIIMS Rishikesh.

Officials stated that the recruitment aims to strengthen grassroots healthcare initiatives and improve non-communicable disease (NCD) risk reduction strategies in rural Uttarakhand.
