AICTE Offers Opportunity To Indian Students - Mitacs Globalink Research Internship 2027
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has started accepting applications for the AICTE-Mitacs Globalink Research Internship (GRI) 2027, inviting eligible students from AICTE-accredited institutions to apply for the 12-week research program in Canada. On 5th August, 2026, Professor Yogesh Singh, Chairperson, AICTE, launched the Internship Program to further enhance international research collaboration and global academic mobility.
The deadline for applications is 16th September, 2026. The selected Interns would have the amazing opportunity to work on advanced-level research under the supervision of faculty members of several Canadian Institutions of higher education. This would also give the selected Interns exposure to international research and experience.
AICTE Announces GRI 2027
The AICTE-Mitacs Globalink Research Internship (GRI) gives top-level undergraduate learners a chance to participate in Canada's higher education sector's advanced research.
The Internship will have a minimum duration of twelve weeks to enable Interns to participate in research, to gain practical research experience, and to build a network of international research contacts that will be useful for their future research and higher education.
