AICTE QIP PG Certificate 2026, Last Chance to Apply Before July 15

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is inviting eligible faculty members to apply for the AICTE QIP PG Certificate Programme 2026-27 before the deadline on July 15. This initiative provides advanced certification courses through esteemed institutions such as IITs, IIITs, IIMs, and NITs and aids faculty members in developing their skills in teaching, research, and skilling for the industry.

For teachers who want to further their qualifications while keeping their job, time is running out. Applications for the AICTE QIP PG Certificate Programme 2026–27 will close on July 15, 2026, as per the notice sent out by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). AICTE has informed that applicants interested in the programme need to register themselves at the QIP portal as soon as possible, as the programme has a limited number of seats.

The programme is part of the Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) by AICTE and aims to further develop the skills and knowledge of teaching faculty by offering a variety of Structured Postgraduate Certificate Programmes. The certificate programmes will be offered in collaboration with several of the premier institutions of higher learning in India. Faculty participants will earn teaching certifications from IITs, IIITs, IIMs, NITs and will enjoy the benefits of postgraduate certifications in industry and job-oriented programs.

 

The Purpose of the Programme is to build skills for Faculty

The AICTE QIP PG Certificate Programme has been designed for faculty members so they can adapt to changes in the industries and the evolution of pedagogy. The Programme has been developed to allow participants with different educational and teaching backgrounds to learn new skills in new and emerging areas.

The key features include:

  • Certification from IITs, IIITs, IIMs and NITs.
  • Courses from computational, non-computational and management areas.
  • Eligibility of faculty members with 3 years of teaching experience.
  • The intake of 200 participants.
  • A hybrid model of learning with 200 learning hours and 18 academic credits.

The Programme aims to enhance the quality of teaching and promote learning through research, and to strengthen the collaboration between the industry and academia in all technical institutions.

As per AICTE, the Programme is aimed mostly at the faculty members of AICTE-approved institutions who meet the given eligibility criteria. The criterion is those who have teaching experience of 3 years. Additional eligibility criteria may be specified by the concerned Programme.
