
New Delhi, September 2025 – The Bar Council of India (BCI) has released the official notification for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 20, which will be held on November 30, 2025 in offline mode at centres across the country. The exam is compulsory for law graduates seeking to practice in Indian courts and tribunals.
Registration and Key Dates
The registration process will begin on September 29, 2025, and remain open until October 28, 2025. Candidates must pay the examination fee by October 29, while corrections to the application form can be made until October 31. Admit cards will be issued online on November 15.

Eligibility and Passing Criteria
Law graduates who have completed a three-year or five-year LLB degree, or are in their final year with no pending backlogs, are eligible to appear.
To qualify, candidates must score at least 45% (General/OBC) and 40% (SC/ST and differently-abled). Clearing the exam is mandatory to obtain the Certificate of Practice, enabling candidates to practice law professionally across India.
