AIAPGET Counselling 2026 Begins Today: Registration for Round 1 Begins; Know Last Date, Seat Allotment Schedule

New Delhi: The process for admission to Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy postgraduate courses, 2026, has started from today, October 30. The Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) has opened the registration process for the first round of AIAPGET Counselling 2026. Candidates who have cleared the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026, can now register for admission to these courses for the academic year 2026-27.

In view of the revised counselling schedule of AACCC, registration and fee payment process for round 1 will be done till November 3, 2026. Candidates, however, should complete the registration process by 2 pm, while fee payment will be done by 5 pm as per the server time, stated the schedule. AACCC has published a revised schedule for counselling on its official site. Following are the important dates for round 1:

Who Can Apply for AIAPGET PG Counselling 2026?

The AACCC registration facility is open to qualified candidates of AIAPGET 2026 for admission to postgraduate MD/MS courses in the ASU and H streams. Counselling is conducted for eligible seats in the All India Quota in Government/Aided Medical Colleges/Institutions, Deemed Universities/Central Universities and National Institutes, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) as detailed by the AACCC.

AIAPGET is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the Ministry of Ayush and the Regulatory Boards for admission to Postgraduate Courses in Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani/Homoeopathy. Choice filling and seat locking

Once registered, candidates need to fill up their preferred choice of institutions. The choice filling period for Round 1 will take place between October 30 and November 3. Final seat locking will take place between 2PM and 11:55PM on November 3.

Candidates will receive their allotment results on November 4. They must complete the reporting process between November 6 and November 13. This allotment is based on the merit of AIAPGET, candidate choices, and eligibility and availability of seats. Candidates should therefore be strategic with their choices.

What happens after Round 1?

The AACCC has also published the timeline for future counselling rounds. Round 2 registration and payment will take place between November 16 and November 19. Registration will close at 2PM while payment can be made until 5PM. Results will be released on November 21. Candidates must report to the institutes between November 22 and November 26. Round 3 registration will take place between November 30 and December 2. Allotment results will be released on December 4. Candidates must report to the institutes between December 5 and December 10.
