AIAPGET 2026 Re-Exam September 1, 2026 at 10 AM for 49 Candidates due to Power Failure at Jaipur Centre
August 22, New Delhi \: The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced a re-examination for 49 AIAPGET 2026 candidates after a power failure at the Jaipur examination centre during the AIAPGET 2026 exam on August 22, 2026 (Tuesday). The re-examination will be held on September 1, 2026, at 10 AM at the Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women, Jaipur, according to an NTA public notice dated August 22. The candidates will not have to take the examination again and reapply; instead, NTA has rescheduled the exam for the affected candidates.

According to NTA, further details for the re-examination will be shared in the revised admit cards for the affected candidates.
What Happened at the Jaipur AIAPGET Centre?
As reported by the NTA, 36,979 candidates had registered for AIAPGET 2026 Shift 1 on 22 August. Amongst these, 35,837 candidates appeared at 200 examination centers across the country. The exam was completed by 35,788 candidates. One Center that disrupted the examinations was Shri Satya Sai PG College Center, Jaipur. Of the 192 candidates that attended the center, 49 candidates were unable to complete their examinations as a result of a power outage.
The NTA, in its public notice, has reportedly placed the responsibility of the power outage on M/S Eduquity Career Technologies Private Limited, the examination conducting agency. The agency has also reportedly expressed its regret to the affected candidates.
AIAPPGET 2026 Revised Exam Centres
Due to the current disruptions, a few candidates will now appear at a new examination center.
- Original Center: Shri Satya Sai Pg College Center, Jaipur
- New Center: Rajasthan College Of Engineering For Women, Jaipur
The revised admit cards will contain all the details required for the rescheduled examinations and candidates are advised to carefully review the revised admit card rather than relying on unofficial sources.
Candidates Who Need to Appear for the AIAPGET Re-Exam
The re-examination is applicable only to the 49 candidates who were unable to complete their scheduled examinations on 22 August due to the power outage at the Jaipur center. This is not a general re-examination for all AIAPGET 2026 candidates.
Candidates whose examinations were completed should not consider the re-examination notice applicable to them, and the NTA notice explicitly indicates the affected candidates.
AIAPGET 2026 Exam Was Conducted across 200 Centres
Disruption at one centre did not affect the examination at other centres, as reported by NTA. For AIAPGET 2026 Shift 1, about 35,837 candidates appeared at 200 centres. AIAPGET is the national level examination for postgraduate AYUSH education that incorporates Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy and provides admission to postgraduate courses in these systems.
The Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) conducts counselling for admission to All India Quota seats of AYUSH postgraduate programs in government, government aided, deemed, central universities and national institutions, amongst others.
What Affected Candidates Should Do Now
Affected candidates are directed to:
- Wait for the new AIAPGET 2026 admit card.
- Check for the new examination centre and other details carefully.
- Appear for the examination at 10: AM on 1st September, 2022.
- Follow the complete details mentioned on the new admit card.
- For communication and updates, candidates should use only official NTA communication.

Final Thoughts
This is not simply a disruption, the Jaipur center incident has encouraged the NTA to take a second look at the entire situation. Because of this incident, 49 AIAPGET 2026 candidates will have September 1st in the center of their attention.
Candidates will have to download the revised admit card as soon as it is released to check and confirm the updated center. The venue for the re-examination will be Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women, Jaipur and the examination will begin at 10 AM.
