Kozhikode, Kerala: The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has announced the opening of admissions for the Second Batch (2026–30) of its pioneering four-year Bachelor of Management Studies (Honours with Research) programme at its Kochi Campus.

Launched last year as the first full-time undergraduate management degree from one of India’s Top-3 IIMs, the BMS programme has generated significant national interest for its forward-looking curriculum and interdisciplinary design. The programme aims to nurture analytically sharp, ethically grounded, and globally oriented young leaders equipped to navigate an increasingly complex and technology-driven world. 114 students from diverse academic and geographic backgrounds were inducted into IIM Kozhikode in August 2025, as part of the pioneering first batch of IIM Kozhikode BMS Programme, at the institute’s Kochi Campus.

Designed in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP), the four-year, eight-semester programme offers a Major in Management along with stackable Minors across emerging and foundational disciplines such as Economics and Public Policy, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Psychology and Behavioural Sciences, Finance and Big Data, Sales & Marketing and Liberal Studies. The programme integrates classroom rigour with research exposure, internships, an exchange semester, and career mentoring through IIMK’s Corporate Access Readiness and Engagement (CARE) initiative.

Announcing the opening of admissions, Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, Director, IIM Kozhikode, said: “The BMS programme represents our commitment to reimagining management education from its very foundations. By engaging students at the undergraduate level, we are cultivating intellectual curiosity, interdisciplinary agility, and a strong ethical compass at a formative stage.
