Bengaluru - Azim Premji University has opened the admissions for its Postgraduate Diploma programs designed for teachers and education professionals. The programs will be offered at the University's Bengaluru campus in a hybrid format, combining online learning with on-campus sessions.
The university is offering these 3 Postgraduate Diploma programs: Post graduate diploma in Early Childhood Education, Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Assessments and Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching Children with Learning Disabilities.
The last date to apply is February 12, 2026. Interviews will be conducted in February 2026 and the classes will commence from March , 2026.
The one year part-time programs integrate theory and practice to support professional development of educators working in regular school systems. The flexible structure enables working the professionals to continue their jobs while upgrading their skills and knowledge. The programs are open to school teachers, teacher educators, special educators, school functionaries and professionals working with government bodies, private institutions, and NGOs associated with the school education sector. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Key feature includes online classes, periodic on-campus sessions at the Bengaluru campus and a modular structure where each diploma comprises 4 certificate programs of 12 weeks each. Participants also have the option to enroll in their the full diploma or individual certificate program.
Commenting on the initiative, Ankur Madan, Director, School of Education, Ajim Prem Ji university said that the program aimed to equip teacher and education functionaries with practical knowledge and skills in areas such as early childhood education , learning disabilities and assessments , enabling them to apply learning in their everyday , professional practice.
