Mahenderagarh : The application process for admission in the undergraduate programmes available for the academic session 2022-23 at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh has started. Under this process, the courses available under the Department of Vocational Studies and Skill Development of the University B. Voc. - Retail and Logistics Management are open for admissions. Enrollment in this course, which provides academic knowledge, skill development as well as many employment opportunities, will be through the Joint University Entrance Examination (CUET) 2022 for which online application can be made till May 6, 2022. The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar says that B. Voc. Retail and Logistics Management is providing skill development and employment opportunities to students through training and placement. This course acquaints the students with important dimensions like creativity, problem solving, entrepreneurship, skill development etc.
Department of Vocational Studies and Skill Development, Coordinator Prof. Pawan Kumar Maurya, said that B. Voc. - Retail and Logistics Management also provides timely lectures by industrial experts and industrial training to its students under comprehensive practical education. Prof. Maurya said that the objective of this course is to increase employment capacity and develop skills in students. For admission in this course, it is necessary for the applicant to have passed 12th or is appearing for class 12th. A total of 63 seats are available in the syllabus under session 2022-23. Programme Coordinator Dr. Suyash Mishra informed that the main objective of this courseis to make the students aware of the advanced methods taking place in the field of retail and logistics. Under this course, the students will get Diploma on completion of this one-year course; on completion of two years --Advanced Diploma and on completion of three years – degree in B. Voc. Retail and Logistics Management will be awarded. Apart from this, skill related certificates are also awarded to the students through Retailers Association Skill Council of India, an organization recognized by the Government of India.
Dr. Suyash Mishra informed that ample employment opportunities are available after the completion of this course which is validated by the fact that despite the corona epidemic, the students of this course studying at the University got employment opportunities in reputed institutions like Reliance Retail Limited, Aditya Birla Fashion & Relate, Max Lifestyle and OG India Packaging Pvt. Ltd.
