Kolkata: The University of Burdwan has announced to all that Applications in prescribed form, on and from 01.11.2024 to 17.11.2024, are invited for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling for the session 2024-25 at the Department of Lifelong Learning, Burdwan University.
This program is designed to equip graduates with the essential skills and knowledge necessary for effective guidance and counselling in various settings.
The course will span two semesters, and the total fee for the program is Rs. 10,000/-. The intake for this course is limited to 31 students, with specific reservations allocated as per government rules: 14 seats for Unreserved (UR), 7 for Scheduled Castes (SC), 2 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), 3 for Other Backward Classes (A) (OBC(A)), 2 for Other Backward Classes (B) (OBC(B)), and 3 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). The tentative date for the commencement of the course is set for January 2025.
To be eligible for this diploma program, applicants must be graduates (10+2+3) in any discipline from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
