New Delhi. : The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has initiated the recruitment process for Junior Assistant (Fire Services) positions, offering 89 vacancies across the country. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website, www.aai.aero. The application deadline for completing both Step I and Step II of registration is January 28, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:
• Passed Class 10 along with a three-year regular diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or Fire disciplines.
• Completed Class 12 through regular studies.

Salary Details

• Selected candidates will earn a salary ranging from ₹31,000 to ₹92,000 per month.

Selection Process

• The recruitment process includes:
• Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Duration: 2 hours

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• 50 out of 100 for UR, EWS, and OBC candidates
• 40 out of 100 for SC/ST candidates

Document Verification and Medical Examination

• Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification and a medical exam, including a Physical Measurement Test.

Driving Test

• A valid driving licence for Light, Medium, or Heavy Motor Vehicles is mandatory.

Physical Endurance Test (PET)

• The PET involves five endurance activities, and candidates must score a minimum of 60 marks to qualify.

Final Selection

• The final merit list will be based solely on the marks obtained in the CBT.
