New Delhi, September 3, 2026: The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), NCERT, in collaboration with PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3, Delhi Cantt, organised an interactive DIKSHA Virtual Labs Orientation Session for Class 6 students.
The session introduced students to digital laboratories and demonstrated how virtual tools can support practical, hands-on and experiential learning beyond the traditional classroom.
During the orientation, students participated in a range of activities designed to encourage exploration and experimentation. The session included:
- Virtual Lab demonstrations
- Hands-on simulation activities
- Interactive lab-based activities
- Quiz session
- Experiential learning activities
The activities provided students with an opportunity to understand concepts through digital simulations and practical experiences. The interactive format encouraged students to actively participate, experiment with virtual learning environments and develop curiosity towards scientific and practical learning.
The session highlighted the potential of DIKSHA Virtual Labs in making learning more engaging and activity-oriented. By allowing students to explore concepts through simulations and interactive exercises, virtual labs can complement classroom teaching and provide learners with opportunities to learn by doing.
The orientation encouraged students to learn, explore and experiment through digital laboratory resources, supporting a more engaging and experiential approach to school education.
