More than 23,000 vacancies are expected to be filled under the recruitment drive. Candidates will be shortlisted primarily on the basis of their Class 10 marks, with no written examination or interview.

Candidates interested in applying for the India Post GDS July 2026 recruitment must fulfil the prescribed age and educational requirements.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
