Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2026: The registration process for Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2026 has begun today, August 13, 2026, for students seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses across medical and dental colleges in the state. The counselling is being conducted by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak, under the supervision of the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana. The counselling process will cover Government, Government-aided, private and private university medical and dental colleges in Haryana. Eligible candidates can complete their registration through the official counselling portal, uhsrugcounselling.com, until August 22, 2026.

Who Can Apply for Haryana NEET UG Counselling?

Candidates must have qualified NEET UG 2026 and meet the eligibility requirements prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC), Dental Council of India (DCI) and the NEET UG information bulletin. For admission to government and government-aided institutions, candidates must be Indian citizens and bonafide residents of Haryana with a valid Haryana residence/domicile certificate. Candidates must also have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as the required subjects. The minimum age requirement is 17 years as of December 31, 2026Students from outside Haryana can also participate in the counselling process for eligible management quota seats in private medical and dental colleges, subject to the applicable rules.

How to Register for Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2026?

Candidates need to visit the official counselling portal and complete the online registration process. They will be required to provide their NEET UG 2026 roll number and application details, along with personal, contact, educational and domicile information. Applicants must upload the required documents, which may include:

  • NEET UG 2026 scorecard
  • Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets/certificates
  • Haryana domicile/residence certificate, wherever applicable
  • Category certificate, if applicable
  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Other documents specified by the counselling authority

After entering the required details and uploading the documents, candidates must pay the prescribed non-refundable counselling registration fee online. The registration fee is ₹2,500 for General/Unreserved candidates and ₹1,250 for Haryana SC/BC/EWS candidates, as specified for the counselling process.

How Will Seat Allotment Take Place?

Admission will be based on the NEET UG 2026 merit and the choices submitted by candidates during online counselling. Candidates will have to select their preferred courses and colleges carefully, as the choices submitted during the counselling process will be considered for seat allotment. For government medical and dental colleges, 15% of seats are allocated under the All India Quota (AIQ), while 85% are available under the Haryana State QuotaIn private medical and dental colleges affiliated with UHS Rohtak, 50% of seats are allocated under the State Quota and 50% under the Management Category. A portion of the Management Category seats is also earmarked for NRI candidates as per the applicable rules.

What Happens After Seat Allotment?

Candidates who are allotted a seat will have to complete the required admission formalities and report for document verification with their original certificates as instructed by the counselling authority. If seats remain vacant after the first round, subsequent counselling rounds, including the second, third and mop-up rounds, may be conducted. Candidates who have already registered may be required to submit their willingness for subsequent rounds, while fresh registration may also be permitted according to the counselling schedule. Candidates are advised to carefully check the official counselling notification, eligibility requirements, fee details and deadlines before submitting their applications.
