Chandigarh:  The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has released the admit cards for the 2026 Screening Test for the deployment of teachers and school heads in Government Model Sanskriti, PM Shri, Chief Minister Excellence and Elementary English Schools. Candidates appearing for the examination can download their hall tickets using their Employee ID and registered mobile number. The screening examination is scheduled to be conducted on August 22, 2026, from 2 PM to 3:30 PM. Around 21,096 candidates are expected to appear for the examination at 69 centres across the state. The examination will be conducted in offline OMR-based mode. Candidates should download their admit cards in advance and carefully check the examination centre, reporting instructions and other details mentioned on the hall ticket.

How to Download HBSE Admit Card 2026?

Candidates can download their admit cards by visiting the official HBSE examination portal and accessing the link for the Screening Test for Deployment in GMS/PMS/CMEEE Schools Examination August 2026. After opening the admit card link, candidates need to enter their Employee ID and registered mobile number. The hall ticket will then appear on the screen, following which candidates can download and print it. Candidates should verify their personal details and examination centre information after downloading the admit card. Any discrepancy should be brought to the notice of the Board at the earliest.

HBSE Screening Test 2026: Exam Pattern

The screening test will be conducted through an OMR-based pen-and-paper examination. The question paper will contain multiple-choice questions. Each question will carry one mark, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. The total examination duration will be 90 minutes. Candidates should therefore revise objective-type questions and pay particular attention to correctly marking their responses on the OMR sheet.

Scribe Facility and Extra Time

HBSE has also issued provisions for eligible candidates requiring a scribe. Blind, visually impaired and disabled candidates who are unable to write independently and wish to use a scribe will be required to produce the prescribed medical documentation confirming 40% or more disability. Candidates opting for a scribe must also carry the required documents relating to the scribe, including educational qualification proof, date of birth proof, photographs and valid identity and address documents. Eligible candidates will receive 30 minutes of additional examination time, irrespective of whether they use a scribe. Candidates requiring a scribe have been advised to complete the approval process with the examination centre superintendent as per the Board's instructions.

Candidates should check the instructions printed on their admit cards and carry all mandatory documents to the examination centre. These may include:

  • Printed copy of the HBSE admit card
  • Valid photo identity proof
  • Required supporting documents, wherever applicable
  • Scribe-related documents for eligible candidates
  • Other documents specifically mentioned in the examination instructions

Candidates should also avoid carrying prohibited items to the examination centre.
