Deakin University GIFT City Campus has reported strong placement outcomes, with Master of Business Analytics students securing internships and employment opportunities at NAB and Cyber Security graduates being recruited by the Adani Group. The placements underscore growing industry demand for analytics and cybersecurity talent and reinforce Deakin’s industry-focused education model.

GIFT City, Gujarat, June 2026: Deakin University GIFT City Campus reports positive placement trends for Master of Business Analytics and Master of Cyber Security students, with placements at the National Australia Bank (NAB) and Adani Group. These new placements demonstrate the confidence growing in the university's industry-integrated education and the specific, high-caliber global education Deakin University designs for students to fill new roles in business and technology. NAB, for the second placement season in a row, chose four students from the Master of Business Analytics second cohort for full-time employment with structured internships.

Ruhani Patel, Aryan Chasia, Raghav Agrawal, and Arushi Jain will be based in NAB’s Gurgaon offices and will support business performance analytics, advanced analytics, and other business functions using data. Because of the success of Deakin’s first India Campus placement cycle, NAB continued to recognize that Deakin’s graduates are capable and ready for the global workforce. Furthermore, placement offers for the inaugural Master of Cyber Security class increased with three placements at Adani Group:

  • Premkumar Sharma
  • Smit Samirbhai Patel
  • Chandan A. Hegde

Commenting on this milestone, Ravneet Pawha, Vice President (Global Engagement) and CEO (South Asia) at Deakin University, said these results illustrate the impact of Deakin’s commitment to applied learning and industry engagement. “These results showcase the strength of our applied learning systems at Deakin, combining academic learning and industry engagement with the ability to solve complex challenges. The commitment to our students by industry leaders such as NAB and Adani reinforces the value of Deakin’s vision and India operations,” said Pawha.

These placement achievements build on the vision of the Deakin University GIFT City Campus as a hub of India’s globally oriented higher education. As the first international university campus in India, under the National Education Policy (NEP) of 2020, the university is dedicated to establishing industry ties in order to develop and prepare professionals to engage in the digital economy. Parents and families are expressing interest in the university, as applications are open for the July 2026 intake. Trends are showing that students are opting for Deakin’s India campus for an internationally recognized education.
