CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 Scores Released: Check Scorecard and Subject-Wise Details
New Delhi, August 29, 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the scores for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination today. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now log in to the official website, csirnet.nta.nic.in, to view, download and print their scorecards.
The Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode on July 17 and 18, 2026, across 224 cities in India. The examination was held for five subjects.
A total of 1,87,739 candidates registered for the examination, while 1,50,057 candidates appeared.
CSIR-UGC NET June 2026: Gender-Wise Candidate Details
According to NTA, female candidates accounted for the largest share of registrations and appearances.

- Male registered: 76,463
- Third gender registered: 2
- Total registered: 1,87,739

CSIR-UGC NET June 2026: Subject-Wise Candidates
The examination was conducted across five subjects. The subject-wise registration and appearance details are:
- Life Sciences: 83,546 registered; 67,650 appeared
- Mathematical Sciences: 31,574 registered; 24,964 appeared
- Physical Sciences: 27,791 registered; 21,810 appeared
- Chemical Sciences: 38,740 registered; 30,885 appeared
- Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences: 6,088 registered; 4,748 appeared
Life Sciences recorded the highest number of registered and appearing candidates among the five subjects.
CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key Process
Before declaring the scores, NTA displayed the provisional answer keys and recorded responses of candidates on the official CSIR-UGC NET website from August 16 to August 18, 2026, up to 11 pm.
Candidates were given an opportunity to raise challenges against the provisional answer keys. The challenges received by NTA were subsequently examined by subject experts, and the results were processed using the answer keys finalised by the experts.

- Visit the official CSIR-UGC NET website at csirnet.nta.nic.in.
- Look for the link related to the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 score/result.
- Enter the required login credentials.
- Submit the details to access the candidate dashboard.
- View the CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 scorecard.
- Download and save the scorecard.
- Take a printout for future admission, fellowship or academic requirements.
NTA Issues Important Verification Advisory
NTA has clarified that the eligibility criteria, self-declaration and other documents of candidates who qualify will be verified by the concerned authorities according to the provisions of the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 Information Bulletin.
Therefore, declaration of the score does not by itself replace the prescribed document and eligibility verification process.
Candidates are advised to use only the official NTA website for further updates and avoid relying on unverified information circulated through social media or other unofficial platforms.
