New Delhi. : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially started the online application process for the Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 examination. Candidates aspiring for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor eligibility, and PhD admissions in Indian universities and colleges can now apply through the official portal.
According to the latest notification released by NTA, the Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode on 17 and 18 July 2026 across various examination centres in India.
CSIR UGC NET June 2026 Important Dates
The online application process has started from 27 May 2026 and will continue till 19 June 2026 up to 11:50 PM. Candidates can complete the fee payment process till 20 June 2026.
- The correction window for editing application details will remain open from 22 June to 23 June 2026.
- The city intimation slip and admit card release dates will be announced later on the official website.
CSIR UGC NET 2026 Exam Timing
The examination will be conducted in two shifts:
- Morning Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
The duration of the examination will be 180 minutes.
Subjects Included in CSIR UGC NET June 2026
The examination will be held for the following subjects:
- Chemical Sciences
- Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences
- Life Sciences
- Mathematical Sciences
- Physical Sciences
The paper will be available in both English and Hindi mediums.
