New Delhi, September 5, 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Tier-II recruitment examination results for selected teaching posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) on September 5, 2026.

The results have been announced for the posts of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Hindi and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Hindi. The Tier-II result for the post of Principal in KVS and NVS was declared earlier on September 3, 2026.

Candidates can check their individual results and shortlisting status, wherever applicable, by logging into the CBSE recruitment application portal.

What Happens After the Tier-II Result?

The next stage of the selection process depends on the particular post mentioned in the recruitment notification.

For posts where an interview is part of the selection process, the Tier-II result indicates whether a candidate has been shortlisted for the interview. Since the recruitment process is still continuing, candidates will receive their marksheets within 15 days from the publication of the final result, after completion of the interview process.

For posts where no interview is prescribed, Tier-II marks will be made available in the respective candidate login along with the result.

Preference Submission for Eligible Candidates

Candidates who are required to exercise a post or organisation preference under the recruitment notification can submit their preference through the application portal.

Candidates should carefully read the instructions displayed in their login and submit their preference within the prescribed deadline.

Interview and Skill Test Updates

For posts requiring an interview or skill test, the schedule and call letters will be uploaded in the respective candidate login after the schedule is finalised in consultation with KVS or NVS, as applicable.

CBSE has stated that results for the remaining posts are being finalised and will be released in phases.
