Delhi Education Minister Shri Ashish Sood Urges Youth to "Build Their Own Story" Beyond Social Media।
New Delhi : Addressing students, faculty, and parents at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) at an Orientation Session, Delhi Education Minister Shri Ashish Sood delivered an inspiring message to the youth (Amritpeedhi), encouraging them to avoid superficial social media metrics and focus on building unique, meaningful lives.
Speaking at the university event, Minister Shri Ashish Sood outlined the Delhi Government’s comprehensive vision under Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta to transform Delhi into a global knowledge hub aligned with NEP 2020.
The Minister urged students not to spend their university years trying to become a perfect version of someone else.
"Social media shows you people's highlights. University is where you build your real life. Do not measure your journey against somebody else's LinkedIn profile or Instagram feed."
The minister emphasized that AI should assist human intellect, not replace it.
"AI can give you an answer. University should teach you how to ask the right question... Your competitive advantage in the age of AI will not simply be knowing how to use technology. It will be knowing what is worth using technology for."
Shri Sood reminded students that while the government provides "ease of learning," their ultimate duty is to use their knowledge to create "ease of living" for society in the march toward Viksit Bharat 2047.
Education Minister Shri Sood told students to "Use AI. Experiment with it. Learn how it works. But do not outsource your thinking to an algorithm."
Lastly, Shri Sood stated that "A developed Bharat is not created only through GDP numbers... By 2047, India will complete 100 years of Independence. You are Amritpeedhi."
