Haryana: The 73rd District Level Van Mahotsav was organized by Forest Department, Government of Haryana at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh. Organized by the joint efforts of Forest Board, Mahendergarh, Haryana State Biodiversity Board, Panchkula, CUH Clean Campus Green Campus Club, National Service Scheme, the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar planted Triveni Neem, Banyan and Peepal saplings at this festival. While addressing the officers, employees, teachers, students and researchers present on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor gave the message of Nature Conservation.
Prof. Surendra Singh, Coordinator, Clean Campus Green Campus Club, CUH informed that this festival was organized by the Forest Department of Haryana Government at the University in which mainly District Forest Officer Mr. Rohtash Singh was present.
On this occasion, Haryana State Biodiversity Board, Panchkula member Deshraj Sharma, Mission Mahendergarh ‘Apna Jal Selfie with My Talaiya’ team member State Forest Officer Chandragupta, Rajesh Sharma Jharli, Spokesperson Surendra Gahda, Spokesperson Dinesh Sharma, Forest Inspector Ashok Kumar, Forest Guard Dharmendra Kumar also gave the message of environmental protection by planting saplings.
On this occasion the Registrar of the University Prof. Sunil Kumar, Prof. Ranjan Aneja, Dr. Santosh C.H., Prof. Pawan Kumar Maurya, Prof. Sunil Kumar, Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Prof. Harish Kumar, Dr. V.N. Yadav, Dr. Dinesh Chahal, Dr. Payal Chandel, Dr. Mona Sharma, Dr. Keshav Rawat along with teachers, students and researchers also planted saplings.
