Kolkata : The University of Burdwan has announced to all concerned that In pursuance of the earlier admission notice, vide no. UG/ 5-yr LL.B. Admn.(2024-25)/235,dated 11.11.2024, it is hereby notified for information of all concerned that
- 1. The followings are the Collegewise provisional rank lists (Round-3) of the candidates for admission to 5-yr. B.A. LL.B. Admission (Session: 2024-29) in the respective Self-financed Law Colleges.
- 2. Mere mention of any name in the provisional rank lists does not by itself ensure admission of the candidate concerned unless his/her original testimonials are found in order during verification.Verification of testimonials of the candidates will be done at the time of admission by the authority of the respective college.
- 3. Candidates shall have to produce all original testimonials including the payment document of application fee, a valid Photo Id proof alongwith the Admit Card of the Written Test at the time of admission before the respective college authority for verification.
- 4. The Principal of each Self-financed law college is requested to make necessary arrangement to confirm the admission of the provisionally enlisted candidates subject to full satisfaction while verifying all original testimonials. Before granting admission, meticulously verify category certificate, eligibility, marks of English & marks of the best four subjects at (10+2) examination as mentioned in the list based on the Google form information, Payment document of application fee and a valid Photo Id proof alongwith the Admit Card of the Written Test etc. of each candidate. Candidature will be cancelled if the documents are found not in conformity with the declaration in the forms submitted on-line.
- 5. Date of admission: From 21.11.2024 to 25.11.2024 at the respective college.
- 6. Collegewise enlisted candidates are directed to report to the respective college authorities for
- completion of admission formalities and finalization of their studentship within the above mentioned dates.
- 7. Each college authority shall have to submit admission status of Round-3 mentioning the vacancy, if
- any and attaching the list of students, taken together, admitted in Round-1, 2 & 3 positively by 26.11.2024.
- 8. Notification for publication of College wise Provisional Rank List of the Candidates (Round-4), if
- required for admission, will be made available only on the University Website on 28.11.2024.
- 9. As vacancies are available in AMEX Law College after Round-2, some candidates, who had taken admission in Bengal Law College in Round-1 according to their 2
- nd choice, are now being allotted to AMEX Law College based on merit through the provision of upgradation to College choice- 1.
- If they are willing to admit themselves in AMEX Law College in Round-3, they are to cancel their admission in Bengal Law College first and then report to AMEX Law College within the above mentioned dates of admission alongwith the documents mentioned in Sl. No. 3 & the cancellation letter, duly signed by the Principal of Bengal Law College with specific order/approval of cancellation of admission of the candidate(s) concerned that will have to be submitted to the authority of AMEX Law College at the time of admission.
