ICGA Foundation Announces the Much-Awaited Annual Event to be Held at IISER Pune, India.

Pune: The ICGA Foundation is thrilled to unveil the highly anticipated 4th ICGA Conference, scheduled to take place from October 06 to 08, 2023, at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune. This conference, a pinnacle event in the field of cancer genomics and precision oncology, promises to bring together luminaries, leaders, and enthusiasts in these domains to share insights, foster collaboration, and spotlight the strides achieved by the ICGA project.

Themed "Advancing Towards Integrated Precision Oncology in India," this year's conference vows to provide an intellectual and informative feast for attendees. The agenda is rich and diverse, comprising lectures, panel discussions, and poster presentations. The goal is to showcase the latest advancements in cancer research, genomics, and omics technologies and spotlight their applications in precision oncology and translational research.

Central to the conference is the provision of a platform for networking and collaboration. Distinguished researchers, clinicians, data scientists, technology providers, and policymakers from India and around the world will converge, facilitating the cross-pollination of ideas that often sparks groundbreaking discoveries. With luminaries from premier institutions poised to grace the event, attendees can anticipate a symphony of knowledge and expertise.

The conference's focal points span the breadth of cancer research and omics technologies. Eminent speakers and panellists will delve into subjects such as ethics, policies, and epidemiology in cancer research, information management in the same field, the use of cancer models in pre-clinical research, integrative 'omics' approaches, and the role of AI and machine learning in mining genomic data. Furthermore, the event will explore the intricate intersection of science, translation, clinical practice, and technology, emphasizing the lessons that can be gleaned from cancer research and omics.

A spotlight will be directed at the next-generation therapies for cancer, reflecting the fast-evolving landscape of therapeutic interventions. The conference will also intricately examine precision medicine in oncology, piecing together the puzzle that unravels the potential of tailored treatments. Additionally, the event will touch upon the pivotal role of patient involvement in clinical research, acknowledging the significance of their contributions.

Poster presentations constitute another integral component of the conference. Tracks including "Structured Cancer Databases - Clinical vs. Research Databases" and "Current Trends in Cancer Omics" will allow participants to showcase their research, fostering a platform for exchanging ideas and feedback.
