New Delhi | The University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued a strong public warning stating that Global Human Peace University, located at #1035, 4th Block, Near Golden Heights, Dr. Rajkumar Road, Rajaji Nagar, Bengaluru–560010, Karnataka, is awarding degrees in violation of the UGC Act, 1956.
According to the official notice, the UGC has included Global Human Peace University in its list of Fake Universities. The institution is neither recognized under Section 2(f) nor declared a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. Additionally, it has not been approved by AICTE or any other statutory regulatory body.
UGC has clearly stated that the said institution is not entitled to award any degree or diploma, and any degree/diploma awarded so far is invalid for:
- Higher education purposes
- Government jobs
- Any official or legal recognition
- Advisory to Students and Parents
In view of the above, the UGC has cautioned students, parents, and the general public NOT TO TAKE ADMISSION in this self-styled institution. Taking admission in such unrecognized universities may seriously jeopardize the academic and professional career of students.
The Commission has reiterated that students must verify the recognition status of universities from official UGC sources before seeking admission to any higher education institution.
