Chandigarh: Chandigarh witnessed a remarkable gathering of students and parents at eduVelocity’s EV University Fair 2025, where prominent universities from India and around the world showcased a wide range of undergraduate academic opportunities. The fair, held at Elante Offices, ran for two hours and attracted students from Classes 9 to 12 who were actively exploring both domestic and international higher-education options.
The event featured a diverse lineup of participating institutions, including Ashoka University, SP Jain School of Global Management, OP Jindal University and Plaksha University from India. Representing global education were universities such as SOAS (London), University of Alberta and the Illinois Institute of Technology. The organisers noted that the broad participation reflected the increasing demand among Indian students for direct interaction with universities worldwide.
Throughout the fair, families engaged with university representatives to understand degree structures, admission processes, subject choices, scholarships, research prospects, campus environments and post-study pathways across disciplines including STEM, liberal arts, design, business and interdisciplinary programs. The conversations equipped students with clearer insights into programmes aligned with their interests and long-term goals.
According to eduVelocity, students today are seeking early clarity and personalised guidance due to intensifying global competition and expanding academic choices. The team emphasised that face-to-face interactions with admissions representatives continue to significantly influence student decision-making, application strategies and overall confidence.
Reflecting on the fair’s impact, Mr. Vinu Warrier, Founder & Managing Partner, eduVelocity Global, said:
“Education is a vital step in shaping our students’ futures, and fairs like these offer excellent opportunities to explore the vast academic and career pathways available to them. We have been organising the eduVelocity University Fair annually at our Chandigarh office, and we enjoy welcoming Indian and overseas universities to meet students from across the tricity to help them make well-informed, best-fit choices.”
He added that the fair will continue to serve as an annual platform connecting universities with prospective applicants, and future editions will broaden institutional participation and programme representation as interest in global education continues to grow.
