ISRO, IN SPACe Launch Short Term Course on Space Technology in Agriculture at Amity University

Week-Long Certificate Programme from July 27 to August 1, 2025; Registrations Open Until July 11

Noida : In an exciting initiative for agriculture and space science enthusiasts, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), in collaboration with IN-SPACe and leading academic partners, has announced a short-term certificate course titled "Essentials of Space Technology in Agriculture". The course will be conducted from July 27 to August 1, 2025, at Amity University, Noida.

This specialised programme aims to educate participants on how space-based tools such as satellites, remote sensing, and spatial data can revolutionise agriculture, boost crop productivity, and address climate-related challenges.

Open to academicians, industry professionals, researchers, and graduates/postgraduates, the course welcomes anyone with a keen interest in applying space technology to farming. However, final-year students are not eligible to apply.

The course fee is ₹15,000, which includes meals. Accommodation is available inside the Amity University campus on request at an additional charge of ₹900 per day. A mandatory quiz will be conducted on the final day, and participants who pass will receive an official certificate of completion.

To apply, interested candidates must follow this process:

  • Make a payment of ₹15,000 on bharatkosh.gov.in
  • Download and save the payment receipt
  • Log in to inspace.gov.in
  • Go to Opportunities > Explore the Opportunities and Apply > Register for Short-Term Course on Essentials of Space Technology in Agriculture
  • Complete the application form, upload the receipt, and submit

Applicants are advised not to book travel until they receive confirmation of selection. IN-SPACe will shortlist the final list of participants.
