Ahmedabad :  In a landmark move towards international expansion, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) is all set to establish its new campus in Dubai, with a full-time one-year MBA programme scheduled to commence in September 2025.

This ambitious global venture marks a significant step in India's journey to become a hub of world-class education. The new campus will offer students access to renowned IIMA faculty, cutting-edge business education, and valuable global exposure, aimed at nurturing future leaders for the Middle East and beyond.

• IIMA Dubai campus to open in 2025

The announcement follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IIMA and the Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on April 8, 2025, in Mumbai.

The MoU was formally exchanged between Professor Bharat Bhasker, Director of IIMA, and Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism.

With this expansion, IIMA becomes one of the few premier Indian B-schools to go global with a dedicated international campus, reinforcing India’s growing influence in the global education landscape.
