CBSE–AIIMS to Host Virtual Mental Health Series from 4–10 October 2025

Week-long sessions during World Mental Health Week will cover stress management, adolescent behavior, resilience in the digital age, and more.

New Delhi, :  The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in collaboration with the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) will organize a Virtual Mental Health Series from 4 to 10 October 2025 to mark World Mental Health Week.

 The initiative aims to promote mental well-being among students, teachers, parents, and counselors, with sessions conducted daily by experts from AIIMS’ Department of Psychiatry and Counselling Services. Each session will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (IST) on a virtual platform, accommodating up to 1,000 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.

4 October 2025 – Health, Nutrition and Emotional Wellness

5 October 2025 – Stress Management and Coping Strategies

6 October 2025 – Building Positive Mental Health

7 October 2025 – The Gut-Brain Connection and Mental Wellbeing

8 October 2025 – Understanding and Addressing Adolescent High-Risk Behaviour

9 October 2025 – Resilience in the Digital Age

10 October 2025 – World Mental Health Day – Panel Discussion on Collective Responsibility for Mental Wellness

At the end of each session, participants will be required to fill out a feedback form.

CBSE Secretary Himanshu Gupta has urged all affiliated schools to circulate this information widely and encourage active participation to foster psychological resilience in school communities.
