Guwahati - Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati has announced a special recruitment drive for filing faculty positions at level of Assistant Professor (Grade I & II) for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NL/EWS and PwBD categories. The recruitment is being conducted across a wide range of departments and schools.
Vacancies are available in Biosciences and Bioiengineering, Chemical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Humanities and Social Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, School of Business, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Energy Science and engineering and Health Science and Technology among others.
Appliants must hold a PhD with First Class or Equivalent in the relevant discipline and possesses a strong academic record. Specific educational requirements vary by department. The upper age limit is preferably 35 years , with applicable age relaxation as per Government of India norms.
The pay and allowances will be as per 7th CPC norms. candidates can apply for more than one department, but separate applications must be submitted for each. All applications must be submitted online as offline applications will not be accepted.
