Ludhiana: Punjab Agricultural University has released Advertisement No. 01/2026 inviting applications from eligible candidates for various teaching and non-teaching positions.
As per the official notification, candidates are required to submit their applications online through the university’s official website and pay the prescribed non-refundable application fee via electronic mode. After completing the process, applicants must download and print the filled application form.
The university has made it mandatory for candidates to submit the hard copy of the application form along with self-attested copies of educational certificates, testimonials, experience certificates, and other relevant documents either by post or by hand to the specified offices. Failure to submit the physical documents within the deadline will lead to rejection of candidature.
The last date for online registration and fee submission is April 17, 2026, while the deadline for submission of hard copies is April 27, 2026 (up to 4:00 PM).
The recruitment includes several high-level academic and scientific positions such as Dean, Director, Senior Biotechnologist, Food Technologist, Botanist, and multiple Assistant Professor roles across disciplines.
In addition, non-teaching posts including Clerk, Bee Keeper, and Ward Attendant are also available.
The application fee varies depending on the post. Most teaching and technical positions require a fee of ₹1298, while Clerk and Bee Keeper posts require ₹354, and Ward Attendant requires ₹118.
University officials emphasized that candidates must strictly follow both online and offline submission procedures to ensure their applications are considered valid.
