NLU DELHI Delhi call for Applications of Senior Communications Manager

New Delhi: The National Law University, Delhi through Project 39A is seeking to engage, on a contractual basis, a Senior Communications Manager at its campus in Dwarka, New Delhi. The contract will be for one year initially and can be extended on an annual basis at the discretion of the University. The manager will work closely with the Executive Steering Committee and the communications team in ideation and delivery of the Communications requirements of the project. 

Project 39A draws inspiration from Article 39-A in the Indian Constitution on equal justice and signals the broadening of our work on the criminal justice system in India. Undertaking litigation, research and communications relating to forensics, torture, legal aid, mental health and death penalty. 

Some responsibilities of Senior Communication Manager: 

  1. Create and manage an annual road map and calendar of communication needs. 

  2. Ideate to produce content to generate awareness and engage audiences across various online and offline channels. 

  3. Identify, build, and nurture relationships with external stakeholders to further Project 39 A's vision. 

  4. Strategise and undertake collaborations with organizations in related fields. OResearch and collate data for communications strategies. 

Requirements and qualifications are stated in notice some of which include:

A Masters degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field, working knowledge of audio-visual editing and design software, ability to tell concise yet engaging stories using audio-visual materials and many more.
