Kashipur: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur has released a recruitment notice inviting applications for the posts of Academic Assistant and Academic Associate in the Communication area. The engagement will be on a contractual basis, offering candidates an opportunity to work closely with faculty members in teaching and academic activities.
According to the official notification, selected candidates will be responsible for assisting faculty in teaching-related work, including course development, evaluation, marking attendance, invigilation duties, research support, consultancy projects, and administrative assistance. They may also be assigned additional responsibilities as per the requirements of the institute.
The eligibility criteria for the Academic Assistant post require candidates to hold a postgraduate degree with first class, while preference will be given to those with relevant academic or industry experience or higher qualifications such as an M.Phil. Candidates with professional qualifications like ACA, AICWA, B.Tech/B.E., or MCA are also eligible. The stipend for Academic Assistants starts at Rs. 27,500 per month for freshers and may increase with experience, subject to a maximum of Rs. 32,000 per month.
For the Academic Associate position, candidates must possess a Ph.D. in a relevant area. The selected candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 33,000 per month, which may increase based on experience up to a maximum of Rs. 39,000 per month.
The appointments will be purely on a contractual basis for a period of one year initially, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and institutional requirements, up to a maximum duration of three years. The institute has indicated that the preferred age limit for applicants is below 35 years.
The selection process will involve shortlisting of candidates followed by interviews, which may be conducted either in person or in online mode. Applicants are required to provide valid contact details, including email ID and phone number, during the application process.
