Gandhinagar: Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara has released a notification inviting applications for the post of Research Associate under a project funded by the Higher Education Funding Agency (HEFA), India.
According to the official advertisement, the position is part of a research project titled “Development of Multisensor Data based Automated Crop Stress Management and Soil Map Monitoring System.” The project is being led by Prof. Dharmendra Singh and Prof. Pratikumar Parimal Shah.
The recruitment is for one (01) post, with an initial duration of one year, which may be extended up to three years based on performance and project requirements.
Selected candidates will receive a monthly fellowship ranging from ₹37,000 to ₹48,100, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, candidates may be allowed to pursue a Ph.D. as per institute norms.
To be eligible, applicants must hold an M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc. degree in relevant fields such as CS/IT/AI/ECE or equivalent, with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA. Candidates in their final semester may also apply, provided they submit proof of completion later. The preferred age limit is below 35 years.
Candidates with expertise in Data Fusion, MATLAB, GIS, Python programming, and data processing techniques, along with a valid GATE qualification, will be given preference.
