Gandhinagar: Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara has invited applications for the post of Research Associate under a project funded by the Higher Education Funding Agency (HEFA), India.
The position is part of a research project titled “Development of Multisensor Data based Automated Crop Stress Management and Soil Map Monitoring System.” The project is being supervised by Prof. Dharmendra Singh and Prof. Pratikumar Parimal Shah.
As per the notification, only one vacancy is available. The initial appointment will be for one year, which may be extended up to three years based on performance and project requirements.
Selected candidates will receive a fellowship of ₹37,000 + 30% HRA (₹48,100 per month). Additionally, candidates may get an opportunity to pursue a Ph.D. as per institute norms.
To be eligible, applicants must have an M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc. degree in CS/IT/AI/ECE or related fields with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CPI. Candidates in the final semester may also apply, provided they submit proof during the interview. The preferred age limit is below 35 years.
Candidates with skills in Image Processing, Data Fusion, MATLAB, QGIS, Python programming, and GIS knowledge will be preferred. Additionally, those qualified in CSIR-UGC NET or GATE will have an advantage.
