ICT IOC Bhubaneswar Invites Applications for JRF Under DRDO Sponsored Project

Three Junior Research Fellow posts announced for a 2.5-year defence research project on hydrogenated aluminium rocket propellants; applications open till March 10.

Bhubaneswar: The Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), IOC Bhubaneswar Campus, has invited applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a DRDO-sponsored research project. The project, titled “Development of hydrogenated aluminum and its passivation as an alternative fuel source for rocket propellant formulation,” is sponsored by ARMREB, DRDO. It will be carried out under the supervision of Dr. Swagat Mohapatra (PI) and Dr. Ayantika Sett (Co-PI)

  • Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

  • Fellowship: ₹37,000 per month + 20% HRA

  • Duration: 2.5 years

  • Eligibility: M.Sc. in Chemistry (minimum 55% marks); preference for UGC-NET/GATE/ICT PhD-qualified candidates and those with experience in inorganic and organometallic synthesis

  • Application Deadline: March 10, 2026

Selection will be based on shortlisting followed by an interview, with the committee’s decision being final. The initial appointment will be for one year, extendable based on performance.
