Gorakhpur: The AIIMS Gorakhpur has released a notification inviting eligible Indian citizens for Senior Resident positions across various departments under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY).
The recruitment will be conducted through a walk-in interview scheduled on April 8, 2026, at the institute campus.
According to the official notice, a total of 21 vacancies have been announced across departments such as Anesthesiology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Radiology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, and Trauma & Emergency, among others.
Selected candidates will be appointed initially for a one-year tenure, which may be extended up to three years based on performance and institutional requirements.
Candidates must possess a postgraduate medical degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the relevant discipline along with required registration. The upper age limit is 45 years.
The selected candidates will receive a pay level of ₹67,700 (Level-11) plus allowances as per institute norms.
Applicants are required to report between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM at the Administrative Block, AIIMS Gorakhpur, along with all necessary documents for verification.
Officials stated that the recruitment aims to strengthen healthcare services and medical education under the PMSSY initiative.
