Kolkata: Indian Institute of Science Education and Research is going to launch Workshop between 6^thJune to 19^thJune, 2022.

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) will be hosting the “Workshop on advanced bio-analytical methods and applications-2022.” The Workshop by IISER, Kolkata being supported by SERB will hold from 6^th June to 12^th June, 2022.

The workshop by IISER thereafter, will be followed by hand-on training by Outreach Activity on advance microbiology education and teaching to be held in Ooty from 15^thJune to 19^thJune, 2022.

The 7-days hand on workshop will be providing a new scope to the students to get a new and progressed idea in following topics:

1. In vivo-imaging,
2. Modern techniques in Histology; in situ cell type and tissue identification,
3. Mass Spectrometry, ITC and HPLC,
4. Fluorescence Microscopy,
5. Flow-cytometry.

The hands-on training will be accompanied by theoretical lectures on the principle, applications and advances of these tools and techniques.

The Workshop will be helping the students to be an early career investigator conversant in cutting edge tools and techniques, their scientific questions and move the research field forward in new and exciting directions and dimensions. This training will also help the students to become experts in modern tools and techniques that are at high demand in current research facilities.

Almost 50-60 students from National and International Institutes will be participating in the meeting. The hands-on training will followed by Outreach activities on advanced microbiology education and training and exchange of thoughts and ideas between different countries.

The applicants can do their Registration before 15^th April, 2022.

The Venue for the workshop is IISER, Kolkata, Mahanpur Campus, West Bengal, India.

No TA/DA will be given to the participants for the Workshop.
