Haryana: A National level webinar was organized by the Department of Biochemistry, Central University of Haryana on March 29, 2022. The topic of the seminar was “Careers in Life sciences: academia and beyond”, the lecture was delivered by Dr. Nidhi Khurana (Cofounder, Metis Hive), Dr. Kalyani (Product Manager, JoVE) and Shri. Samrat Singh (Huntsman Corporation).

Dr. Nidhi and Dr. Kalyani are experts in the field of mentoring Life sciences students to choose and achieve their career goals, they emphasized on the diversity of opportunities for Life Sciences students and elaborated the process and path of approach to be hired in different domains of biological sciences. Dr. Nidhi and Dr. Kalyani has conducted one to one session for the students in networking, communicating, and developing personal brand for the students. All student participants have interacted with the speakers and cleared their doubts and got encouragement.

Shri. Samrat Singh has delivered lectured on Quality assessment and management of products according to the customer needs and educated the students about the manufacturing and feedback processes.
