Value Added Course on Life Skills from ShreemadBhagwat Geeta started in CUH

On this occasion, Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj addressed the students on the topic of personality development formulas from Shreemad Bhagwat Geeta.

Haryana : The Department of Management Studies, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh is providing students to study 'Value added Course on Life Skills from Shreemad Bhagwat Geeta'. This course, available to students under the National Education Policy-2020, was formally inaugurated by GeetaManishi Swami Gyananand JiMaharaj on Friday. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Sushma Yadav, member of the Executive Council of the University Prof. ManojAwasthi and former Vice Chancellor of Dr. B. R.AmbedkarNational Law University,Sonipat, Prof. Viney Kapoor were prominently present. On this occasion, Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj addressed the students on the topic of personality development formulas from Shreemad Bhagwat Geeta.

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar expressed his gratitude to the chief guest and speaker Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj and said that the words spoken by him will definitely prove to be helpful in improving the lives of all the participants present in the auditorium. In his address, the Vice Chancellor specifically mentioned Haryana state and its identity Geeta and said that he has always included it in his introduction in the country and abroad. The Vice Chancellor said that Geeta is a human text and it teaches the art of living life. Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj, present as the keynote speaker, in his address told through Indian culture, festivals and traditions how all these are helpful in maintaining the unity and integrity of India. He inspired the youth to move forward by mentioning three important aspects for personality development: active, alert and aware. Active directly means physical readiness, alert means mentally ready and the direct relation of alert with the awakening of consciousness is expressed. In his address, GeetaManishi inspired the students to set a goal, prepare a plan to achieve it and take action to implement that plan. He said that if body, mind and intellect remain on the right path then the present will be better and the future will automatically become bright.

Dean Students' Welfare of the University, Prof. Anand Sharma highlighted the value added course and told that this course is of four credits, in which knowledge of life skills is imparted to the students. At the end of the program, the Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Sushma Yadav expressed her thanks and gratitude especially to Swami GyananandMaharaj and the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar and  said that it was only due to their efforts that this program on the knowledge of Geeta could be organized today. Dr. Kamraj Sindhu, Associate Professor, Department of Hindi moderated the stage in the program.
