Kurukshetra: The book oriented to regional print media and media education in Uttar Pradesh titled Uttar Pradesh Mein Kshetriya Print Media Evam Sikshan has been launched recently. The book is published and launched by Draft2Digital and in total has 200 pages. With the launch, the writers of the book, Dr. Abhinav and Nikhil Rastogi added a new area of research in Journalism.

Moreover, the book written specifically about regional print media and media education also included legislative, executive and judicial system of the Uttar Pradesh. This has actually widened the horizon to understand the local media and education.

According to the writers, book titled Uttar Pradesh Mein Kshetriya Print Media Evam Sikshan is capable to guide people as a directory. Dr. Abhinav himself stated that “We have collected and added lot of data in the book including contact details of media outlets, because we want our book to prosper as a media directory cum guide.”

Further, the chapter three describes the situation of media personnel recognized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and lists state-level and district-level journalists and photojournalists. Along with this, a detailed description has been given regarding the positions on which future journalists can make a career in the media sector.

Lastly, in chapter four, the possibilities of media education and career in Uttar Pradesh have been highlighted in the book. Likewise, a glimpse of Indian higher education, media teaching in Uttar Pradesh along with career opportunities in media teaching have been also written with detailed explanation.
