Lucknow: The UP Board has taken a big decision regarding the students of class 9th to 12th. Accordingly, Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh State Board of High School and Intermediate Education) has made changes in filling the registration form for these classes.

Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) has made Aadhaar card mandatory for registration. According to the report, the board has made changes in filling the registration form. Now to register from 9th to 12th, you will have to enter the Aadhaar number. According to the report, the board has taken this decision on the instructions of the government. However, this decision has made it difficult for such students who do not have an Aadhar card.

Due to this change made four days ago, the biggest problem is being faced by those children taking admission in class 9 and 11 who do not have Aadhaar. Children without Aadhar number taking direct admission in class 10 and 12 are also upset. However, no official of the board is ready to say anything on this change.

Due to the sudden availability of Aadhaar, thousands of students of classes 9 to 12 are facing the danger of missing out on their studies. Out of 27735 schools affiliated to UP Board, 2332 are government, 4528 are aided and 20875 are unaided. Most of the unaided schools are in rural areas where a large number of children still do not have Aadhaar due to lack of awareness. In such a situation, if the board does not accept the form of these children, then their studies will be interrupted.

The principals of the schools have been told that they must check the Aadhar card for admission in class 9th to 12th. This time the registration form will be filled online. In such a situation, principals will have to ensure the Aadhar card number of their students from now on.

Also said that if any school registers a student without an Aadhaar number, then the responsibility of that student will be on it. If any complaint comes against him then strict action will be taken against the concerned school.
