Haryana - A research scholar from the Department of Sanskrit at Central University of Haryana has been selected for the prestigious ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship.

The scholar, Manisha, has been awarded the fellowship by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) in recognition of her academic excellence and research potential. Congratulating her on the achievement, the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, extended his best wishes to Manisha and her research supervisor Dr. Suman Rani, expressing confidence that her dedication and hard work would lead her to greater academic success.

The Vice-Chancellor stated that Manisha's commitment to teaching and research serves as an inspiration for students and research scholars of the university. He wished her a bright and successful future.

Manisha is pursuing her research on a comparative study of administrative rules described in Yajnavalkya Smriti under the indian knowledge tradition with those enshrined in the modern Indian Constitution. Her research work seeks to establish a meaningful dialogue between ancient Indian thought and contemporary constitutional system. 

The academic achievement have been described as a proud moment for the Department of Sanskrit and the university as a whole. The research supervisor Dr. Suman Rani congratulated Manisha , and encouraged her to continue processing steadily on the path of academic excellence.  

Senior faculty member of the Department of Sanskrit, Dr. Devendra Singh Rajput, also congratulated the scholar and described the selection as a significant accomplishment for the department.

Manisha acknowledged the guidance of her research supervisor and teachers and expressed gratitude for the support of her husband, parents, and family members, crediting them for their encouragement throughout her academic journey.
