New Delhi. : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the notification for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2024. Candidates aiming to qualify for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship positions can apply on the official website — ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

- Registration Start Date: November 19, 2024
- Last Date to Apply: December 10, 2024
- Exam Dates: January 1 to January 19, 2025
- Application Correction Window: December 12–13, 2024
How to Apply for UGC NET December 2024:
- Visit the official website — ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- Click on the registration link available on the homepage.
- Fill out the application form and pay the required fee.
- Submit the application form.
- Download and save the completed application form for future reference.
Admit Cards and Exam City Information:
Once the correction window closes, NTA will notify candidates of their exam city, followed by the release of admit cards.
Background and June Session Updates:
During the UGC NET June 2024 session, the examination faced challenges due to a paper leak incident flagged by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). The NTA canceled the exam, rescheduling it for August 21 to September 4, 2024, in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
