Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya to Host International Conference on Higher Education and Women Empowerment

Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya (KMM) will organise an International Conference on 24–25 February 2026, bringing together national and international academicians to deliberate on higher education, women empowerment, and rural development. Last date to register is February 10, 2026.

Pratapgarh - Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya (KMM), affiliated to Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) University, is set to organise a two-day International Conference on 24 and 25 February 2026 at its campus in Subhash Nagar, Kunda, Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh. The conference is themed “Advancing Higher Education in Rural India Through Global Insights” and is being organised in association with the StudentNest Foundation, USA.

A Pre-Conference Seminar will be held on 24 January 2026 on the theme “Higher Education & Women Empowerment”. The seminar will set the tone for the main conference by highlighting the role of education in empowering women, especially in rural and socially disadvantaged regions.

The conference will be graced by Rita Singh, Principal, Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Banaras Hindu University, as the Chief Guest. The Keynote Address will be delivered by Dhananjay V. Gadre, Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, **Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), Delhi.

The conference aims to explore global best practices, promote academic collaboration, and encourage policy dialogue to strengthen higher education in rural India. Special emphasis will be placed on women’s education, inclusive growth, innovation in teaching-learning practices, and international academic cooperation.

Participants will also be introduced to the cultural and spiritual heritage of the region through post-conference visits to Kripalu Dham, Mangarh; Shringverpur; Sangam, Prayagraj; Ayodhya; Varanasi; and Chitrakoot.
