Haryana :- A two-day exhibition of indigenous products started from Wednesday at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh in collaboration with District MahendragarhKhadiGramodyogKaryakartaSangh, Narnaul. The exhibition was inaugurated by Prof. Sushma Yadav, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University. Regarding this exhibition organized with the efforts of the Centre for Innovation and Incubation of the University, the Pro Vice Chancellor said that this exhibition of indigenous products is an effort to develop the interest for Swadeshi among the students, researchers, teachers and non-teaching staff and to realize the dream of Atmnirbhar Bharat related to it. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of the University said through a message that this exhibition will definitely be helpful in developing attachment towards indigenous products among the participants of the University, especially the young students. He said that it is the responsibility of all of us towards the nation to adopt indigenous goods and help in realizing the vision of Atmnirbhar Bharat.
On this occasion, the first woman of the University, Prof. Sunita Srivastava said that this exhibition organized in collaboration with District MahendragarhKhadiGramodyogKaryakartaSangh, Narnaul will prove to be helpful in making public useful indigenous products easily available to various participants of the University.Dr. Ashish Mathur, Director, Centre for Innovation and Incubation Center said that the clothes and other products available in the exhibition are completely manufactured by indigenous producers and have been developed with environment-friendly technology.Sh. Balwant Sharma, Secretary,District MahendergarhKhadi Village Industries Workers Association expressed his gratitude to the Vice Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Sushma Yadav, Registrar Prof. Sunil Kumar and Center Director Dr. Ashish Mathur, and said that through the exhibition it has been possible to make Khadi products available to various participants of the University. On this occasion, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Meena, Dr. SunitaTanwar, Dr. Neeraj Karan Singh and member of Innovation and Incubation Center Sunil Aggarwal of the University were also present.
